Had a couple of good moth nights here at Marton (1 and 2 Sept) with overe 35 macro species recorded including 3 dark sword grass, rush veneer and feathered gothic. Also found a privet hawk-moth caterpiller munching on our lilac bush. Red underwing also found today down at the Trent Port site Cheers Brian |

More migrant species caught on the 5th in the garden here at Marton included: Bordered Straw. This was a site first and I've put photo in album (if anyone wants to turn it into Scarce Bordered Straw would be pleased!). Dark sword-grass Rush Veneer masses of silver Ys Also had beautiful china-mark which certainly lives up to it's name. Cheers Brian |
