Caught another scarce bordered straw in the garden moth trap here at Marton this weekend. Other species included black rustic, pearly underwing, rush veneer, brick, frosted orange and beaded chestnut. Several Small china-mark moths also flitting around garden pond.
cheers

Hi Brian, I had 10 Scarce Bordered Straw last night just down the road at Broadholme, what a year for migrant moths.

Could this be one of the best years in living memory for migrant moths? Never known so many humming-bird hawks to be around. They're everywhere!
Yet another scarce bordered straw last night.
Cheers
Brian
