While visiting Rimac yesterday,a group of friends and myself had a Yellow belle, while looking for migrant Dragonflies on the outer dunes, iam not sure what the status of the moth is in Lincolnshire,as in the available literature i have,it is only recorded as far north as the wash.Anyone with any info would be welcomed.

According to The Butterflies and Moths of Lincolnshire (2006) Yellow Belle was last recorded at Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe NNR in 1982 and several more recent records form Gib Pt.

Thanks Brian,so it is quite a rare moth in the county, just caught it by chance, unfortunately didn't take any pics,as i was trying to concentrate on the dragons, but one of the other lads did so i will try and obtain a photo for the album.
