Is the Oak Eggar (lasiocampa quercus) found perenially in any sites in Lincolnshire? I know it is in Nottinghamshire.
If so is it the Northern subspecies 'callunae'?
Thanks
Lance

The literature states it is a fairly common Lincs moth in suitable habitat on the coast and inland areas (wooded heaths). Both the northern (callunae) and the southern form (quercus) occur. Places like Laughton Forest and the Woodhall area probably as good as anywhere.
Cheers
Brian
