The recent mild evenings have certainly given the moth season a burst of life again.
Trapping overnight in garden with 25watt actinic lamp produced:
24 Oct 2007
November Moth 1
Feathered Thorn 1
Pale Mottled Willow 1
Blair's shoulder-knot 1
Micro x2 (one doing very good impression of bird dropping but not chinese character)
25 Oct 2007
The Sprawler (2nd garden record)
Plume moth species
and most of above from 24 Oct again
