Had a Speckled Wood in on Tuesday. Things can only get better!

The weather this summer has been atrocious, butterfly numbers are down immensely, my buddleias are in bloom and yesterday one small tortoiseshell visited them, not going to be as good as last year.

My Buddleahs have just bloomed and not seen anything on them today.

Had a single Ringlet on the grass.

As the saying goes, "things can only get better".

While trying out new camera saw a single Gatekeeper, Speckled Wood, Large White, Peacock and Small Tortoiseshell this afternoon.
