I visited Chambers Farm Wood today (11.00 - 1.00pm)
incl. :
White Admiral - 4 ( I met up with Hugh Middleton and he may have seen a few more )
Marbled White - 20 ( Little Scrubbs Meadow )
small Skipper - 16 ( the ones I checked were all Small Skippers)
Gatekeeper - just 1 (although earlier in the day when walking the dog along the tracks between BBH and Branston, I saw 4 along the hedges - living up to their other common name of Hedge Brown : a name probably more appropriate than 'Gatekeeper' ).
Small Tortoiseshell - 1
