A visit here this aftie produced a couple of firsts for the year for me in the form of Large Skipper and Meadow Brown,this is what i recorded:

6 Speckled Wood
2 Small Heath
4 Painted Lady
10 Large Skipper
1 Meadow Brown
2 Small White
1 Large White

Also had 1 Meadow Brown today (Thursday 11th) at Whisby. First Large Skipper of the year for Whisby was on Tuesday 9th.

Our first Large Skipper for the year was at Goslings Corner Wood on 9th June.
