I arrived about 2.30 for Open Day. And as Steve says the place was heaving with Ringlet. I was actually having a day off birding etc and only took my 7 x 21 bins just in case. Met Colin later in day and while with him had 2 Painted Lady, 1 Small Tortoiseshell, 2 Small White and loads of Ringlet. While sat on the seat at Grebe Lake had my first Gatekeeper this year. Regards John |
