Saturday 4 July 2009 Long Strip Wood, Immingham Dock White-letter Hairstreak - At least 10, occasionally showing well on the Elm near the entrance to the wood. Red Admiral - 4 Painted Lady - 1 Small Tortoiseshell - 2 Gatekeeper - 1 Ringlet - 18 Meadow Brown - 11 Speckled Wood - 14 Large Skipper - 1 Large White - 14 Small White - 11 Green-veined White - 1 Regards Dave |

A visit this afternoon for a couple of hours inbetween the showers got me a few sightings,this is what i saw: 5 White-letter Hairstreak(Including 1 female egg-laying). 1 Comma 2 Small White 4 Speckled Wood 1 Meadow Brown 10 Green-veined White 4 Red Admiral 2 Gatekeeper 2 Ringlet Regards Steve. |
