There seems to be large numbers of this butterfly on the wing at every site i have visited,no doubt due to our drier spring this year,lets hope it carries on in forthcoming years and maybe we will see a recovery of some other species such as Wall,which seems to be very scarce in the first brood at the sites i visit in spring.
