A very satisfying day down in the woods with plenty of butterflies and a big surprise! Dark Green Fritillary 1 - a county first for us and in good condition(see Album) - found by Adrian Royle Brown Hairstreak 3 - between Five Ways and Minting Triangle(see Album) Small Tortoiseshell c30 Peacock c200 Small White c40 Red Admiral 2 Painted Lady c25 Large White c10 Green-veined White 2 Common Blue c75 Small Copper c20 Brimstone c20 Comma 2 Meadow Brown 2 Small Skipper 1 Speckled Wood c10 Gatekeeper c8 Regards, Colin and Sheila |
