I'm not a butterfly man but on the 13th at Pye's in the dunes I saw the tiniest bright orange fritillary type butterfly, it was docile and I could touch it but it could fly perfectly well. I reckon it was the size of one of those small blue butterflies.
Any ideas ?

It could have been a Small Copper Colin.

Just looked up small copper Roy, yes it could have been, looks like it was a female as it had lots of spots. Thanx Roy
