Today (Fri) I met up with an old friend, Peter Cawdell, (Chairman, Lincs Branch, Butterfly Conservation) at Southrey Wood, near Bardney.
He was completing a transect including c 25 White Admirals - I notched up 15.

Regards,

Freddy

Good question, Nick, and the answer has to be "No". I think it is because this summer I've been watching more carefully where I've been putting my feet, so perhaps the Lepidoptera are not very interested in my (cleaner) boots. :)

Freddy
