Yes I've noticed Brown Argos associating with Fleabane at Gib and not just in a dry year like this year. On our Transect we expect to find Brown Argos when we reach the only patch of Fleabane. Fleabane is also flowering about 3 weeks earlier on average now than 15 years ago. I'm going to plant Fleabane in my garden for next year!

Transect on 1908, 13 brown argus and 67 common blue and the first and so far only painted lady, also 7 fresh small tortoiseshells, all other species in small numbers, water mint now becoming the main nectar source, and little of this on the transect route.
regards John.
