| Post subject: | Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe NNR small tortoiseshell |
This afternoon (5th) I counted 73 small tortoiseshells all feeding on flowering sea aster on the saltmarsh. This was a min count of scattered butterflies over around 20 acres of patchy but well formed areas of sea aster. Also a couple of peacocks. There was a light NE wind, clear blue sky, sunny but cool.
