29 in our garden today. 27 yesterday. We had 2 sightings throughout the whole of the spring period. Most seen on 1 day last September was 9. Just 1 each of painted lady, red admiral and meadow brown and only 4 peacock when there were double figures last week. As torts are considered to be in decline I thought this count was remarkable and worth reporting. Cheers. Rick |
