The many hundreds of Meadow Browns had pretty much disappeared from the grasslands (am sure the council could have waited a week or 2 longer before they cut the grass) but were still a few around - Meadow Brown 30+ Gatekeeper 15+ Speckled Wood 6 Comma 1 Peacock 2 Green-veined White 2 Small White 2 Large White 1 Cheers James |
