Nice one Freddy!
By coincidence, whilst eating lunch today, we also noticed a Brimstone in the garden.
This too is our first garden butterfly of the year.

Roy

Am hoping for an increase this year/s, a mate as given me a dozen different packs of wildflower seeds ranging from Vipers Bugloss to Purple Loosestrife and another wild flower which have always wanted to grow Birdsfoot Trefoil.

Kind regards

Max :D

Good luck with your seeds, Max. Butterflies are certainly attracted to purple plants. Hopefully, you might also attract a passing Common Blue or two as the larval foodplant is Bird's-foot Trefoil.

Best regards.
