Butterfly Conservation Lincs Branch thank you all for your past records. Please note any future butterfly records that are supplied on this forum must have the Recorders Name and not the recorders forum name. This is due to problems BC Lincs Branch have had with the new Copyright Laws and Freedom of Information act. Any butterfly records supplied by recorders on this forum may be used for the protection of butterflies and will be supplied to the BC National Butterfly Recording Scheme - NBN Gateway - CEH Monks Wood and Local Records Centre. Information on endangered butterfly speices like the Duke of Burgundy, is restricted for their protection. The new 2000 to 2004 national butterfly atlas will be published in May 2006. 2006 starts the beginnig of the next five year update for the next atlas.
