A brief visit to my local patch (Trent Port Wetland, Marton) this evening produced hundreds of small tortoiseshells, mainly nectaring on creeping thistles along with a range of other species: Meadow Brown 100's Gatekeeper 10 Red admiral 11 Ringlet 12 Large Skipper 3 Small Skipper 30 Essex Skipper 2 Green-veined White 3 Comma 1 Cheers Brian |
