had a long walk yesterday in this new wood plantation.
Following species sighted

Common Blue
Brown Argus
Brimstone
painted lady
Silver y moth
red admiral
ringlet
Speckled wood
Large heath
Small tortoishell
gatekeeper
Peacock
GV White
Small White
large White
and several dragonflies

I know this site very well and have never seen Brown argus there either, are you sure of the Id of those two species in particular.

On reflection they were most likely meadow brown/small heath.

the Brown Argus is definite saw another today and one on Viking way near Cranwell.
