I know this is not a Lincolnshire sighting, but I am pretty proud of it so wanted to share it. On holiday in Suffolk last week paid a visit to Minsmere and my daughter and I were the 1st people to spot a Camberwell Beauty. Certainly the biggest butterfly I've ever seen in the wild. It settled on the ground and we were about to take a picture when a wild rabbit chased it off and it flew off over the reedbeds so we couldn't follow, still something I shall never forget
