This afternoon i had a very dark butterfly in the garden, i would have sworn it was a purple hairstreak but according to my book it is way too early, shame it did not land also 3 peacocks, several small tortoiseshells and a speckled wood, i hope my garden is alive with butterflies this year as it was last year.
