Greetwell Hollow LWT Reserve 28.07.08 13.15-14.00 Sunny and hot conditions Common Blue 1 Holly Blue 3 Small copper 1 Gatekeeper 150+ Meadow Brown 10 Ringlet 4 Small Skipper 18 Speckled Wood 3 Large White 8 Small White 3 Green-veined white 1 Peacock 11 Interesting to how a site's butterfly assemblage changes in the space of a week. Not a single small tortoiseshell today compared to least 15 last week. Cheers Brian |
