Had a short visit to Rimac Saltfleetby 29th May, got talking to
a local guy, he told me that last week a lot of school children, supervised
by teachers had visited the reserve. In the field set aside for wild flowers
the kids had run riot, most if not all the Orchids had been trampled.
Did not have time to look for myself, but if true I had better remain P C
and say no more.
regards
pete scott

the group had walked on the edge of the meadow near the path i doubt if more than 0.2% of the orchids had been damaged . the moles/deer/ rabbits/badgers, do more damage. John

Good to hear that John, I guess the guy who told me just
did not approve of school children on his local patch. Pete
