Surprised to see an adult Grey Seal in the river at Bardney Lock this morning. I assume they must get through the lock at Boston as boats go through?

Seal has by-passed Bardney lock and found it's way into the South Delph.
Seen yesterday ( Wednesday 14th. ) about 1 mile up the delph and swimming strongly towards 5 mile bridge,Wahingborough and ultimately Lincoln !!
The South Delph runs alongside the Witham but disappears somewhere near Stamp End. ( eventually becomes the Sincil drain ? )
