Matt,

I haven't myself seen Green Hairstreak at Greetwell Hollow. However,Brian Eke ('Wheatear') has seen it there in previous years. There is just one report of a sighting this year on 19 April but I don't know exactly where at the Hollow.

Regards,

Freddy

On the coast green hairstreak are usually found close to or on flowering hawthorn and elder, and where the 2 species grow in proximty,
this year seems a good one for the species, with goups of up to 5 seen
over the past week, and widespread along the Saltfleetby Theddlethorpe N N R. Best of luck, John.
