5 southern hawkers along with about 12 four spot chasers on a reedbed just outside Susworth.
Red eyed damselflies now on the lilypads on the lake near duck hide at Messingham.

Oops, :oops: i think i have made a big bloomer, the southern hawkers may or probably were hairy hawkers, they seemed very different to the Messingham hairy dragonflies, more vibrant colours, it must have been the strong sun playing tricks on me, apologies to everybody. :oops: :oops: :oops:
