Welbeck Raptor Viewpoint - 12.00-3.00pm Cloudy and windy;brighter later (with a group of 6-8 birders)
incl. Honey Buzzard - excellent views - tail rather long; long winged when gliding with smoothly downcurved wings; soared on flattish wings Goshawk (juvenile) flew overhead at medium tree height and across the lake in mainly straight gliding flight. Initial silhouette suggested Carrion Crow. Brown above, buff-white below Flew straight into wood at low level. Osprey - flew up and down over lake and circled around for c10 minutes Common Buzzard - 4/5 incl 3 in the air together Kestrel plus Marsh Tit Coal Tit Great Tit Chaffinch -at the feeders
