Graham.
Working on the airfield at Waddington, have not seen a Grey for a couple of month's. Red legs gertting silly(all reared) 37 one day last week and lot's of 2s to 5s. 18 together this morning but have had amounts up to 43 together from other reporters. Grey's have been hit hard, have been told of grass cut nests of 12-14 eggs and others of run down small chicks not being seen due to water and grass growth and sinkage of soil etc.

Brian.

the 59 were presumably all released birds--probably more present and local pairs calling and getting agitated!

Over 200 red-legs just recently released near to the Trent Port wetland site, Marton. Greys fairly scarce in the area.
Cheers
