I had a days birding in norfolk with friends from derbyshire, left home at 06.10 hrs and at a village north of boston called sibsey i saw 2 jays, wow.
I have now lived in lincs for 13 months and these were the first jays i have seen, a county tick :D :D .

you can see Jays in Boston cemetary, i also see them in my mother in laws garden in Frampton, cheers

Try Bradley Woods - never failed to see one there (At the feeders). Don't forget to take some feed just in case no one else has left any!

I haven't been there recently but regularly used to see at least one between Silk Willoughby and Burton Pedwardine.

Not a single jay but a pair have helped themselves to unripe cherries in garden at Saxilby, not a single one left
Have been frequent visitors this year and can regularly hear them in copse behind garden

Sorry i get them in the back garden usually averaging 1 every two/3 weeks either flying throu or landing in the tall trees at the back.

boultham mere near lincoln has them regularly.seen at least 4 on my last 7 visits.

Many thanks for all the info. Within 7 days of the original posting i had 3 more jay sightings,
2 at waltham windmill
1 in woodland between tealby-mkt rasen.
