Covenham Reservoir 9am - 11am - Great Northern Diver, adult bird in summer plumage showed really well. Slavonian Grebe, first winter juvenile along the west side. Good numbers of Golden Eye. No sign of Snow Buntings while we were there.

Opposite Sandilands Golf course - Whooper Swans in first field by the drain.

Huttoft Pit nature reserve - Long Tailed Duck, adult male, showed well.

Simon and Karen with John and Angie

Sea watching at Huttoft Terrace with Dean and Alicia - 2 gannets, 3 shellducks and a real good laugh!

Manby Flashes were rather quiet, the most notable birds were 11 Black-tailed Godwit.

On to Covenham res where we saw much the same as Simon and Karen with the addition of a female Common Scoter.

Last port of call was Tetney Lock where we walked to Low Farm and back along the sea bank via the outfall. About 600 dark-bellied Brent Geese and about 1500 Golden Plover were in the fields on the landward side of the sea bank.

Regards,

Colin and Sheila

Graham

I edited your submission as the link went to a Little Auk.
Use the link location in the panel at the bottom not the one
in the address bar at the top. If this is the wrong bird let me know.

John
