Possibly the same bird I saw whilst driving Friday 14.45ish near A15 / A52 roundabout.

A quick flash of light grey wings in a flock of about 40.

Would not have reported it as it was such a quick flash....as poss Rosy seen in area.

Hi Bob

Probably not the same bird as the one you saw as this one has been seen around this area since Thursday.

Regards

Russell

Seen again this morning......

I stopped to scan the field between A15 Bourne and A52 Grantham roads this morning and saw:-

80+ Lapwings
3 Golden Plover
50+ Black Headed Gull
1 Herring Gull
40+ Starling - including a very pale winged starling.
60+ Rook - including one with a very red face (Pigment or its last meal?)
4 Jackdaw
1 Crow
1 Blackbird - with a few white feathers
25 Fieldfare over
2 Kestral (both female)
3 Buzzards over
1 Pheasant
6+ Red-legged Partridge

Not a bad 15-20 mins and one field.

I have noticed that a lot of the hedges between the roundabout and Folkingham have been 'TRIMMED' in the last few days. These were a mass of berries, no longer though! Seems a bad time for the birds to manage the hedges!

Also I must apologise to those concerned for only reporting DROSS.

Regards...Bob
