2 Stonechat(m,f.)
5 Whooper Swan(3 adults,2 juv's),on fields to the north of the car-park.
2 flocks of Pink-footed Geese(67,south and 31 north,which landed in the field with the Whooper Swans).
6 Kestrel
3 Common Buzzard

Owls seemed to be everywhere at one time
An excellent afternoon

Also there was a fantastic moon rise. I have put a couple of photos in the album. As they were taken hand held through the scope they are not particulaly good. Hopefully Mandy and Mick took some better ones

There seemed to be owls everywhere at one time

It was an excellent afternoon

I have placed a couple of photos in the album of a stunning moon rise over Worlaby. They are not particularly good as they were taken hand held through my scope. Hopefully Mandy and Mick noticed it and with their equipment will have done justice to the spectacle

My first visit to Worlaby Carrs on Sunday. Many thanks to those who pointed out the local sights - Hen Harrier & SEO's etc. Many thanke to the SEO's for displaying so well.
