Hi Kev.
I don't know about the HP pda but have you considered a smart phone such as the Nokia N73 or N95, with Sat Nav and the web it might be a cheaper and better option.

I have now realized that I am way behind when it comes to the technical age. The only Tom-tom I know of was used as a form of communication by native Americans. Perhaps it's another well tested method that's coming back in fashion.

Its called moving with the times, just like your PC, and if it makes my life easier bring it on, the latest sat nav technology is superb, built in speed camera detector, nearest fuel stations, latest weather reports etc, I do a lot of contract work for the Council, they send me the postcode & house number, which takes me outside the house, SUPERB...

Out of curiosity I checked the Nokia website for prices of the phones mentioned, £250 odd and £450 odd, sure is a lot of money for some those on benefits.

I'll stick with my dictaphone, bog standard mobile, comprehensive Gowrings Road Atlas and info off the websites, until I win the Lotto!

Those who can afford the new age phones and GPS power to your elbow.

Hi Max,
You should check the phone companies websites, they usually give the phones away free or very cheaply on contract.

Yes James, and I can also find my way around, I am on a contract with Vodafone for several years now and I receive a new phone of my choice every 10 months Free, and then I sell my old handset which pays my bill for 2 to 3 months

Dean...
