Many of you will know 'farmer' Ron Scatliffe, who has been a keen local birder for many years.
Ron has been in hospital for several weeks undergoing a course of chemotherapy. I am sure you will want to join me in wishing him speedy improvement so that he might be home for Christmas.

We had been wondering how Ron was getting on, as we'd not seen him for quite a while.

We send him and his wife our very best wishes for a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him out bird watching again very soon.

We would like to wish everyone on The Forum a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Birding Year.

Regards
Sheila and Colin

Thanks Colin & Sheila for the good wishes, and all the very to you too!

Am pleased to report that Ron is now home and, although a little tired when I spoke to him this morning, was in good cheer and wondering if he will soon be adding to his Lincs. list in the form of a dartford warbler - reported at Gib Point again today.

Roy.
