A visit to Barton today produced an excellant haul of good birds,the following where seen:
1 male Red-crested Pochard(with a flock of 53 Pochard),they eventually flew off towards New Holland.
1 Red-throated Diver(juv.).
1 Adult Med. Gull(also seen yesterday).
juv/1st wint. female Long-tailed Duck.
All the above where seen on the sailing pit,on the eastern side of Barton.
2 Cetti's Warbler(1 on a small pit adjacent to the sailing pit,which showed very well,and 1 on Water's edge.)
1 male Smew(Hotel pit)
1 2nd winter male Marsh Harrier(Far-Ings/Hotel pit)
