Hi John

The spotted redshank has been about since before Christmas - I've even heard it from the office !

I think there have been one or two on at Alkborough and on Norfolk coast.

Cheers

Kev

I was being flippant Kev picking on on the mispell, I rememeber Rick Pilcher telling me he shot wintering dusky redshanks (as they were known) in the 1920s to prove to Dick Cornwallis that they were a regular winter species in the wash!! and we had a wintering one here at Saltfleetby a few years ago. John.

According to someone I saw at Freiston, the Dartford Warbler is still there today.....

John

Sorry, I'm having an oblivious week !

Katherine - I didnt hear anything on the dartford today, but if the weather keeps this mild, no reason why it shouldnt stick around.

Anyway, spotted credshank again today and adult winter Med gull flew into roost.

Cheers

Kev
