Because without it we tend to forget those little things in life.

As an example if I hadn't taken you with me, to the sailing pits, you wouldn't have been able to tell the members of this forum that you had seen the LTD & RTD.

Lack of memory also causes some of us to forget, as in your case. :shock:

The following sightings were also seen by myself and Dave Johnson while we were at the Sailing Pits complex yesterday, but for some reason he forgot to mention them. :twisted:

Sailing Pit: late afternoon

Great-crested Grebe - 3
Goldeneye - 1 female
Cormorant - 1
Coot - 9
Mallard - 5

Humber Foreshore

Curlew - 6 [over]
Cormorant - 6 [over]
Mute Swan - 5

Barrow Mere

Teal, Tufted Duck, Coot, Mallard and Pochard.

The 2 female Long-tailed Duck are still present on the sailing pit,but no sign of the Red throated Diver.Also here,a 1st winter Med. Gull at first light,but it quickly disappeared inland with it's commoner cousins.

I report things that are worth reporting, but if I see any more splattered roadside Pheasants, I will inform you !

On this occasion if you hadn't been with me you wouldn't have had the opportunity to report. As far as the pheasants are concerned you would be far better stuffing them... :lol:
