Still present in the same field this afternoon c.1230. To the left/north of the house on the near edge of the field, showing very close to the road.

Took my young lady for her first sighting of the cattle egret at Legbourne yesterday. Still in the same field at 3pm. - for about thirty seconds! It then took off towards Kenwick Park. Seen briefly flying in the Legbourne area before it disappeared into the rapidly descending mist. A buzzard, a redwing and several fieldfare still in the same field.

I am not a member of the forum or Lincolnshire Birdclub but maybe coming to Lincolnshire this weekend and I was just wanting to put a request out about this Cattle Egret at Legbourne and whether it has been seen over the last 2 days.

There was no sign of the Cattle Egret at Legbourne nr Louth today at 10:30 am.
