Why??????

Because there is no need to be deadly serious all the time. We're all in this because we love birds in some way. If people want to be really serious and only talk of birds with their latin names that's fine and I respect them for it but if some want to enjoy their birds and enter into a bit of light hearted banter then that's fine, too. I enjoy Katherine's little interjections of fun as well as the more serious stuff and hope she goes on making these sort of contributions (as I am sure she will!).
