Hi

If you have five minutes, please visit http://www.rspb.org.uk/supporting/campaigns/biofuels/ and read all about the current biofuel situation. Theres far too much to go into here, but then if you have a further minute spare, please click on the link on the right under "What can i do?" to send an e-mail to Ruth Kelly in protest.

Thanks,

Paul.

Which comes first, other people's lives in Bangladesh and the Fens of England or wildlife, the Curlew, the Oystercather? This is a very difficult situation, but I must say that we should have done something about the world's climate 10 years ago, not now.

Not quite sure what you're getting at Alastair. Everythings linked - people, environment, wildlife. Is that what you were saying?

Sitting on the fence expecting governments to do something is no longer and option. It's our world and we need to put pressure on the powers that be to do the right thing.
It may be too late for some species, don't wait for a catastrophe before you stand up and be counted.
Thanks Paul for bringing the details to our attention.
E.mail sent to Ruth Kelly.
