RAF Waddington 21/05/08.
Single buzzards thermalling off and on all day, 2 doing the length of the runway 1030ish.
Whilst chasing some Rooks at the southern end at Barn fm area caught a flash of some very pale underwing flashes in the haze managed to get closer and saw a Red Kite being harrssed by a Crow and a Buzzard they played around for a little bit aand where joined by a 2nd Red Kiteat (1403), the Kites drifted off at about 500ft roughly North west along the line of the A607 towards the Lincoln edge and Bracebridge Heath. First Red Kites for the airfield :D :D :D :D
