Location: Louth
Whilst walking one of my BTO atlas tetrads S of Louth today I heard an infernal racket coming from the trees in Brock a Dale Plantation atTF323850. I was perplexed. I tracked the noise down to two Helmeted Guineafowl in the treetops which flew away on my arrival. These birds are usually closely associated with farms and small holdings but the nearest from this point is about a kilometre away. They'll soon be category C.
