Alkborough Flats - sounds a great site.
What are the brief directions to access the Car Park from Alkborough village?

Regards,

Freddy

Hi Freddy,
find the church,as the church comes in view bear to the right then sharp left, you go down a steep hill,i think there is a no throu rd sign, not sure,
cheers,
Rog.
ps.the more people that go the better.i applied for a permit because of certain restrictions, but got a reply no permits were issued and that larger access has been implemented, canadian mike has been recently and found that to be the case also,so hopefully this closed shop rubbish (certain areas for certain people)is now a bad thing of the past!!!and that the initial intentions of this marvellous site can now be realised and enjoyed by all.
Cheers,
Roger Hebb.

Well said s routledge,i notice your submission has been removed!!getting more like china every day-speaking the truth steve is not allowed,.but c"mon they could have removed b-------ng,and kept the rest, but no-your not allowed to upset birders who dont want anything coming out of that site-so your whole submission was removed-what is going on here???having said that i hope my previous comments on this thread bear fruit, but obviously from steves censorship we have mountains still to climb.
Just to add a footnote:we have to accept that some birders will not release birds on this site for whatever reasons, that if we think about it is their right, but i and im sure virtually every other birder will realease any decent birds,so lets hopefully end all this alk flats argy bargy and as Dean eades indicated, enjoy, chill out,and more enjoy!.

Dean

Your mistake and the clearing up thereof makes an earlier contribution seem almost paranoid...

No its not a good point dean its an ill founded unfair point-The only paranoid persons is john clarkson for assuming such a conclusion and you agreeing with it,considering i did not know the above from dean eades -how does that drive you to that assumption john .??
