Migration watch 0745-1130 stood on Mill Hill in continuous light to moderate rain (maybe I'll take a coat out next time !)
A serious southerly movement of meadow pipits 6600, siskins 3200 and swallows 1500 with sand and house martins, goldfinches, linnets, crossbills, grey and yellow wagtails, tree pipits all moving south over the dunes, terns and skuas (including a juv pom), gannets, wigeon and teal over the sea - goldcrests and a scattering of warblers and redstarts in the scrub - a very busy morning for recording!
