Had a trip down to Norfolk for the first time this year. Wall to wall sunshine at Snettisham and Titchwell.

Logged about 60 species but missed Purple Sandpiper and Water Pipit. No raptors at all for me

Highlights were

Fieldfare in their thousands -a fall?
Starlings many of these also - no Waxwings
Stonechat 3 at snettisham
15 species of waders seen today - most in good numbers
Kingfisher - prolonged hoveing in front of th hide at Snettisham
Twite 1
Pintail 17 males at Titchwell plus females
Pink Foot and Brent Geese
Gannet 13 but little else on the sea
