Post subject: Hybrid great tit?

During my daily watch of birds in our garden, I saw, alongside the great tit that is a daily visitor, a second one, with a striking white tail. Could this be a hybrid of some sort?
The tail looked longer that the usual g-tit, but perhaps due to the visually bright tail. Head also looked a bit lighter than normal, but still unmistakably a g-tit.
Rushed for the camera, but bird had flown by the time I returned. I'll keep a lookout for it tomorrow.
