Waxwing still present this morning, in hedgerow trees around the car park, till 11.30 at least. By this time the car park was full and Whisby was looking more like Piccadilly Circus!

Regards

Grahame

P.s. There is only one Waxwing dispite claims of more on the pager services last night.

I viewed the bird from 2.15 - 2.30pm today (Sun), gorging itself on rose hips at the track entrance to the large Wind Pump opposite the Car Park. It fed unconcernedly, with dog walkers and others strolling past within 2 or 3 yards. At 2.30 it flew off towards the main Centre Building and Grahame's office.

Regards,

Freddy

Up to 4 Waxwings at Whisby today; 2 in the car park this morning at least and also 2 on the south side of Teal Lake.

Regards
